Welcome to our website. We are The LaFayette Chapter, Kentucky Society, Sons of the American Revolution. With National affiliation, and state charter, the local chapter is where its members serve. The Lafayette chapter has local leadership with local goals and objectives and serves alongside, yet competes with, other affiliate chapters of our national organization. Our chapter is based in Lexington, KY but we occasionally meet at other historically significant sites throughout Central Kentucky. We welcome your interest in our organization and hope you will consider joining us. The SAR Pledge aptly sums up our goal: 'We the decendants of heroes of the American Revolution who, by their sacrifices, established the United States of America, reaffirm our faith in the principals of liberty and our Constitutional Republic, and solomnly pledge ourselves to defend them against every foe.'
